Welcome to Our New Home

I am so excited that you are here! As you can see things look a little different around here, I am over the moon to welcome you to the brand new Be the Kind of Woman blog. Over the last few months, the Lord has been moving and shaking in my life in both heartwarming and heartbreaking ways. But, through all of it, His faithfulness has been steadily moving me toward something so hard for me to do, REST.

For those of you that have been around a while you know that busy is the only speed I operate on and as I’ve gone and gone I have begun to realize that there are things that I’m missing out on, even when I felt like I was doing everything. One of the big things I’ve been missing is this, this community and space where I get to share my stories and what God is doing and it is something I love so much, but always manage to put on the back burner, but not anymore.

So here we are, you’ve landed in our brand new space. This space is just what it says above:

This is a space where being honest is the norm, that brokenness doesn’t mean shame and that love never ends. More than anything I want to you to know who God is and what He says to be true about you and me, knowing that we were created perfectly imperfect and as women, we embody God’s perfect image. Join me on my journey to become the kind of woman that when my feet hit the floor the Devil says, “Oh no! She’s up!”

I want you to know that this is my greatest hope and dream for Be the Kind of Woman. That we as a community, create a space where all of these things are true and that we start the journey to believe what God created us to be. Be sure to take a look around and see what’s new and what’s coming soon because I can’t wait for you guys to see it.
